What is a Makers Studio? A maker studio is a dedicated location for a community of artists, inventors, craftsmen, and hobbyists to work on their projects. The location is a large building with several work areas that contain a varied collection of materials, tools, and equipment. A makers studio is also referred to as “maker spaces”, “maker labs”, or “fab-labs.” Members of a makers studio have the opportunity to acquire new skills, expand their hobbies, and "to learn how to do that thing they always wanted to do".
